STEPHEN GAUBERT WILL FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS

Stephen C. Gaubert is admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana. He is also admitted to practice before all three federal district courts in Louisiana, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.  His primary areas of practice include land-based Workers’ Compensation accidents, automobile, trucking and boating accidents, estate planning, family law matters as well as contracts and business law matters.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Stephen graduated Cum Laude from The Southern University Law Center in 2004.  During law school, he served on Law Review and was enrolled on the National Dean’s List.   In 2000, Stephen received a Bachelors of Science in Behavioral Science from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  During his college years, Stephen served as a police officer for four years with the University Police Department where he served as a Shift Commander specializing in criminal investigations.

LEADERSHIP, MEMBERSHIP & HONORS

Stephen currently serves as member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, The Lafayette Bar Association, The American Bar Association, The Louisiana Association for Justice, University of Louisiana Alumni Association, The Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Lafayette Unlimited and The Coastal Conservation Association.  Stephen volunteers countless hours per year through the Lafayette Parish Bar Association’s Pro Bono program as well as serving on the community service committee of the Lafayette Bar Association.

He is a Past-President of the Board of Directors for Festival International de Louisiane and has previously served on the Boards of several local charities including The Boys and Girls Clubs of Acadiana, The March of Dimes and CASA. Stephen was also a founding member and Vice President of Policy for The 705, a partnership with The United Way.  Stephen is the co-chairman of Louisiana Workers Advocates (LWA), the State affiliate member of the National Workplace Law & Advocacy Group (WILG) and is a member of the Advisory Board for Innoviant Pharmacy in Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania.  Stephen is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette Class XXIII and is listed in the Who’s Who of American Lawyers.
